The domestic assault rifle was first developed and designed in postwar Japan, and was officially adopted in 1964. It is a firearm with unique characteristics such as SDF firearms, such as high accuracy of hits, short stock according to the physique of Japanese people, and easy control due to the reduced shape of 7.62mm NATO ammunition with a small amount of charge.
